Hi, I’m Summer. I was born in Tianjin 天津 and raised in San Francisco. I currently live and work as a designer and artist in Seattle.
I lead the design team at Henry Art Gallery and have an independent art practice in publishing, garments, installation, and illustration. I recently initiated a personal play space under the moniker superlychee, giving myself full permission to experiment, be messy, and to follow my many curiosities. My recent interests builds on the relationship and connections between garments and body, intuition, and expressing the complexities of grief and living in diaspora.
Happy to connect with other creatives and open to commissions and collaborations.
