Summer Li was born in Tianjin and raised primarily in San Francisco. She currently lives and works as a designer and artist in New York City.
Her work spans publishing, installation, and illustration. She initiated a personal project / play space under the name superlychee, to give herself full permission to experiment, be messy, and follow her endless curiosities. Her recent interests builds on the relationships between body, garments, intuition, and expressing the complexities of grief and living in diaspora.
