Custom letterforms sampled from Nina’s collages make up this exhibition identity; design extended to various touchpoints through the building and across the city: the title wall and in-gallery signage, digital ads, marketing posters that were distributed throughout the city, as well as an accompanying publication.

Collaborated with the artist and exhibiton designer closely on the identity and graphics, as well as the arched entryway of the show which connects to the 90s TV soap, Santa Barbara, highlighted in the show. Playful, humorous, and kitsch.

Interplay of the weaving type conveying the contrast between traditional healthcare and “soft services”, efforts made during AIDS epidemic that were not covered by traditional healthcare. Color palette draws from the metallic tinge of the light-responsive pigment on the stones as well as the natural colors of the city’s native flora.

Featured artist for the virtual 2020 East Bay Alternative Zine + Book Festival, typically held in Oakland, CA; designed the poster for the festival capturing the scrappy and playful spirit of DIY publishing.

A love letter to my younger self. Featuring my personal kandi collection from raves attended in my youth. Not only was I able to remember and process those formative years, I also hope that the book gives a glimpse into rave culture in the late aughts/early 2010s.
This book was created for and debuted at the Seattle Art Book Fair in 2023.
